Good location near the town and beach. Stayed 3 nights and although in a residential area it was quiet every night. Good breakfast and extra's e.g. cereals, yoghurts, fruit and offered as much toast as we wanted. The owner was lovely and had a good balance of being helpful, without being overpowering. Although the room and shower cubicle were small, it was however very adequate. Would recommend this as a good place to stay.

The deocr was not dated it was very modern without it being stuffy which is a big bonus when staying at a hotel, you want to feel comfortable and able to relax it did just that. The breakfast is made on request and was very nice, i had two young children with me and they were both accomodated for which is rare. Very satisfied cusomer. It was a lovely guest house, nicely decorated our room was very nice and was very clean, helen was a really nice lady showed us to our room was very helpful and friendly i would 100% go back there again and recommend to family and friends, thankyou helen and we hope to see you again soon x. Had a lovely stay at the Philbeach Hotel. Greeted warmly by Helen even though we'd arrived later than expected and she had to direct us via phone. The room was lovely and warm and very clean. Philbeach is situated right on the seafront and only a 10 minute walk into town. Excellent position just off beach front. Able to come and go as we pleased. Comfortable and well run, taking on board any suggestions given instantly, always with the aim to please. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic breakfasts!. Everything was clean. Helen was kind, friendly and helpful . Food was made fresh and there were choices. Was close to beach and shops. All in all this was a pleasant stay and I would definitely go back!. The room was really comfortable and clean, nicely decorated, much better than some we have stayed in!! Helen was a really friendly landlady, couldn't do enough for you and breakfast was excellent. Everything. Good breakfast, room, staff. Very good local recomendations (what to do... in Weymouth there are many things!). Looking forward to visiting again Weymouth and Philbeach guest house!. Helen and her husband are lovely. It is very close to the beach and also close enough to easily walk into town but I imagine more peaceful than staying in town. Nothing!!. i loved it all. The parking place As it happened we didn't plan to use our car so left it in the sideroad We would have been very lucky to park it near the guest house again if we had used it. Road side parking with the use of a permit supplied by Philbeach Guest House. This did not stop the passenger side wing mirror being ripped off. We had top room very steep, but we knew this when we booked, and it was only room left on our dates. Noisy traffic if your in a front room. Not enough tea/coffee or milk facilities in room! Same as everywhere else - the usual couple of milks so not a personal criticism just general! Be nice to see extra as standard!!!!!. nothing. Room at front on very noisy road and mattress was uncomfortable. nothing. Nothing. Size of bath room.
