The Bear's Paw - Valokuvat
Mitä ihmiset sanovat
The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We really
enjoyed our evening meal and thought that the food and wines were
excellent value. Breakfast was also very good. The staff were very
friendly and helpful. We had booked in to the Bear's Paw as we
needed to break our journey somewhere fairly close to the m6, and were
very pleased that we did choose this treasure of a place.
Superb can do attitude from all staff. First time we had taken our puppy
away from home & the staff could not have done more to make our stay
relaxing & comfortable. A very big thank you to everyone. We would
like to suggest to the Management team that they may wish they may wish
to consider placing a litter bin/doggy pooh bin in the car park.kaikki arvostelut »
The hotel had friendly staff that made you feel cared for, nothing was too much trouble and at the same time they did not intrude upon our party. The food was excellent the breakfast fantastic! We were visiting relatives in nearby Sandbach with parents and sister and brother in law and everyone -even my Dad-couldn't fault it!.
This is a very comfortable hotel, decorated to a high standard and very clean. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The bar and restaurant area are full of character and the comfortable sofas were very welcome. The evening meal and brekfast were of a high quality with plenty of choice.
Excellent service from all the staff, the rooms were of a very high standard, food in restaurant was first class, also enjoyed the choice of cask ales from the bar, will visit again in the near future.

The rooms are decorated superbly a pleasure to stay overnight, but not in room 13 or 14, pub and restaurant have cosy atmosphere, very relaxing, very impresses.

everything.
nice rooms.
Beautiful countryside location+building. Rooms sumptuously decorated. Staff very friendly. Lovely breakfast with great selection.
Room furnishings/decor.
The only negative was the heat in the rooms at the back following a days sun-maybe the curtains could be drawn or portable air conditioning units available?.
Noisy kitchen extractor fans outside our bedroom window. These went off at 11pm and started up again at 6.30am so not a problem overnight as such but still an early wake up call!.
What's not to like?.
disappointing the noisy air conditioning unit outside room 13 and 14.
Room size for the price, albeit a comfortable stay.
very hot, we were probably more conscious of this because we had our little baby with us.
Very hot.
Lost our dinner reservation and mix up on bill, both due to computer gliches.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Dinner was just ok.
Nothing!.
Nothing, this hotel in my opinion is perfect!.
Nothing to complain about.
A little bit pricey.
nothing.
some of the staff were a little under trained.
Service at breakfast was a little slow.
The staff spoke very quickly, it felt like we were at a work's
meeting some of the time. No information on local walks; is this to do
with edf? On one walk we saw potential fracking equipment, this
didn't put us off however.
Nothing.
we booked a superior double room but got an executive DR. No explanation was given and i only discovered mistake at check out.we arrived at 2000 hrs and had a dinner table booking in advance and I assume they gave my booking to another guest.
Nothing!.
nothing.
The food and alcohol drinks were quite expensive in comparison to other
hotels we have stayed of the same quality.
For a 5-Star we had expected a fridge or mini-bar (or even 2 glasses)no bathrobes/slippers/no iron or trouser-press. No A/C but tower fan was provided. Some cleaning issues also; large cobweb in the window full of dead midges, someone's underpants in the drawer. In the hotel restaurant there was a poor vegetarian choice (1-2 main dishes out of 10).
Noise of 'extraction plant' on flat roof immediately outside room.
Small 'lounge' area.
Room was noisy because of kitchen fans.
Dinner was very salty - at limit of acceptability or beyond.
At breakfast the food was ok but was spoiled by hoovering a few yards away throughout the meal.
