The friendly welcome and first class hospitality from hosts John and Avril, who could not have done more to make my short stay comfortable and enjoyable. The accommodation is excellent and the breakfast was a real treat - full English with all the trimmings and fresh local produce. Highly recommended!. Wonderful b&b clean , comfortable and very friendly serving up an excellent breakfast. Exterior is beautifully arrayed in xmas lights showing guests they will be warmly welcomed. One of, if not the best b&b I have had the pleasure to stay in and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I would certainly use the Gillingham Rest again. The Hosts John & Avril The Picture Perfect Exterior. Luxurious Interior. Warm welcome. Quality Local Produce and Expertly Presented Breakfast. A restful experience. This is a place to getaway from the the city pace of life. I like the quiet and country charm. The friendliness of the staff was that of which I expected. Very nice welcome and the owners were very attentive. Nice room with good size bed and good breakfast - apart from the hash brown which was cold. The friendly and obliging owners. Everything needed for a very pleasant stay. Very reasonable prices and excellent (large!) breakfast. Pleasant and thoughtful staff they could not have been better and a full breakfast to die for!! beautifull. Lovely guest house. Nice owners. Spotlessly clean. Very comfie. Great brekkie. staff were friendly, room was really comfortable. very pleasant owners very nice room. nice location nice people. overall very good. No negative points at all. There is nothing to dislike about the Gillingham Rest B&B. Absolutely nothing. The location is a bit remote. But it is still nice for those who are need to stop somewhere over night; or someone that really just needs a quiet place to think. Room was a little on the cold side but not a real problem and there weren't any available plug sockets for laptop/phone. Nothing. I could not fault anything, I do not think there is need for any changes. I really enjoyed my stay. I couldn't stay longer!. hot water ran out after running a bath so my sister fell short of being able to use the shower. the staff were very apologetic and accommodating so we still recommend this to anyone. would have preferred en-suite. rooms on the cold side heating coming on late side and going off early BED FURNITURE LETHAL TO THE KNEES.
