The hotel was excellent and certainly lived up to it's description and reviews. Marion and Les (the owners) were very welcoming (the pot of tea on arrival was very much appreciated). We stayed in one of the garden rooms which had recently been refurbished - it was lovely. The hotel generally was clean and tidy and the breakfasts were homecooked

The hotel is great and you feel right at home in a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast room was very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. We couldn't have asked for more. However the reception staff were marvellously kind and welcoming and gave us a complimentary tray of tea in the lounge. When it became clear that there would be a further delay, we were switched to another room immediately. I am full of praise for the reception staff.

The rather grand and very traditional style, especially of the spacious dining and reception areas on the ground floor. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Very good Full English breakfasts. Helpful staff. Good location, facing the sea, on the western edge of central area but easy walking distance to the harbour and town. Ample car parking space.
