After a few hours on the road my family and I were thankful for booking at The Station Farm Guest House. Jackie who runs the Station Farm Guest House, gave us a very warm welcome. It felt very homely on our arrival. Jackie did a great job at making sure the rooms were clean and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. Jackies breakfasts were also extremely tasty, particularly her Full English breakfasts. The beds were very comfortable and I have to congratulate Jackie on the bis. kaikki arvostelut »
This is good value for £30.very comfy bed.
The staff are very helpful. I had a lovely lady cook me a breakfast and suggested places to visit as did another who made me a cup of tea as I was in one of the bars after checkout planning my trip and finishing internet business.
Ideal location, a few minutes walk to catch a train into York. Very friendly and accommodating. Pleasant village location. Excellent pub just down the road serving delicious food.
Friendliness, breakfast, room standard and guest lounge. Modern DVDs, tv, lovelly position in Village, good restaurant in Biggin, near Tadcaster, York and countryside.
Excellent location right next to the station for easy access to York. Lovely breakfast. Nice room with lovely linen and furnishings.
Peace and quiet, warm welcome, room was clean and tidy, great breakfast and the guest house is tastefully decorated.
Good communication via email before arrival, clean room, friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Very nice breakfast.
Everything, from the very warm welcome to the food, the gorgeous location and the little pub down the road.
Very pleasant guest house, run very well by Jackie Santer.
Friendly host.
Nice breakfast.
Comfy bed.
Quiet village setting within walking distance of The White Horse public
house which has excellent home made food. The breakfast at Station Farm
was very good. The guest sitting room cosy.
Very warm welcome, easy arrangements for late return in the evening, comfortable room though not too spacious, good breakfast. Good selection of hot drinks on the drinks tray.
I think the address should be made a bit clearer or a sign indicating where to turn into from a busy road. The address letsbookhotel.com have been given is not clear. Having said that I did stop at a pub to ask directions and spent the evening there for dinner which was much fun.
Nothing!!.
Nothing comes to mind.
En suite had a macerator which was a little noisy especially at night.
Nothing.
Honestly, we can't think of anything.
Nothing except maybe the signage needs to be visible from the road.
Nothing!.
Unfortunately the room we were booked into was not available due to a
plumbing problem so we had a smaller room with cramped on suite
facilities.
Tiny en-suite, very small wash basin, very small TV screen. As B&Bs go, not inexpensive.
