It leads to a viewing point of Jacob’s Ladder Beach and the entrance of Connaught Gardens. Sidmouth Golf Club is a short 5-minute car journey away and Beer Quarry Caves are also 16 minutes’ drive from the inn.

We enjoyed our short break immensely. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff, and were always recognised when we came into the hotel by the staff on duty. The facilities were great-suited our needs perfectly. We will definitely return again. * Budget hotel operating to high standards of comfort and service * Staff friendly and efficient * Comfortable, well-appointed room * Excellent breakfast included in price * Central, seafront location * Very good value for money.

Excellent service and food. All the staff were professional and friendly, it made for a relaxing and stress free sojourn. Such a good position, sea and shopping, what could be better. Food great. Staff helpful, room & bed very comfortable with sea view as specified. Right on the sea front and in the middle of the shopping area, All facilities excellent and the food -- mmm delicious. The newly refurbished rooms have been done to a high standard. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit!. The food was fantastic and parking next to the sea. The staff were friendly and brought some toys out for our daughter at breakfast. Cannot fault the staff,food or anything else to be honest. At the price I paid it was incredible value. Great location and very helpful staff. The room was large with tea and coffee making facilities. Duvets could have been slightly larger and of a higher tog. I had to resort to the extra blankets and the weather was not particularly cold. Leaving. Could not fault it!. The only very small point was no easy access plug socket for the laptop, that said moving the bed to get to one wasn't much of a problem. Bathroom was to small together with the television. No lift so had to carry our cases up four flights of stairs. Somewhat dim lighting in bedroom; lack of shelving in shower-room. Parking. It was dark and I couldn't see the sea!. No complaints. Poor WiFi connection in room. Squeeky bed! No big deal though. Had to cope with stairs which are tricky for me, but staff very helpful with luggage. Nothing to dislike. paying bill with paid for night invoiced a second time.
