Owners were friendly and welcoming. Our dogs were made a fuss of and there is a large garden they can mooch around in. My room was comfortable and we were offered a home-made cooked dinner (which was very nice).

Location. Friendly & helpful. Good value.
Location and owner's attitude.
I have to leave thos blank.
Nothing at all.
Unfortunately the boiler had broken so there was no heating despite the efforts of the owners to get an engineer in. However my friends were given a small heater for their room and I could have had one as well, if I'd realised how cold it was going to be over night!.
Small amount of noise from the road running along side the guest house.
Trips to a toilet bathroom ,
A cold bed .
The short flex on the kettle which had to be used on the floor.
nothing.
All rooms should be ensuite.
The guest house is incredibly dated and shabby. The bedding was scruffy and mismatched. It could seriously benefit from a makeover! Also the boiler was broken and so we had an electric fan heater - the room was too hot with it on and too cold with it off.
Breakfast had all the right ingredients, but didn't quite live up to expectation.
Booked twin room but was single room with additional bed, wardrobe was a hanging basket bracket, sugar for tea making facilities was free from ASDA coffee shop, room was shabby and unclean - cobwebs on the ceiling and carpet hadn't been hoovered.
Beds were unstable and uncomfortable, bedding was an assortment of ill fitting sheets. Finally the breakfast was burnt!.
The room was very cold.. We turned the radiator up but it took some
hours before we could relax and take our fleeces off, the dining room
was even colder. The host apollogised by saying it was a very cold house
and they are impossible to heat.
Room smelt of damp, and the breakfast was atrocious !.
We ended up in the "Chalet" which is trailer in the backyard.
Wouldn'd be so bad except that we had no hot water (no shower).
During the night the electricity was shut off (no light, no heat) It got
very cold and we ended up sleeping in our street clothes. At the early
light we packed up and left without breakfast for which we paid the
night before. Definitely the worst experience ever.
Food poor quality and very small amounts - breakfast not worth £6
Beds very uncomfortable - springs right at top of mattress
Pillows lumpy
Room smelt of curry
Noisy - room right on top of main road.
