Bedrooms at The Eskdale are individually decorated, and many have original features. The en suite rooms include a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities with mineral water and biscuits. The Eskdale Lodge Restaurant serves traditional British cuisine and cooked breakfasts in the Victorian panelled dining room. The bars have exposed beams, rustic furniture, and large-screen TVs. The family-run Eskdale is just 15 minutes’ drive from Manchester International Airport. Old Trafford, home of Manchester United, is a 10-minute drive, and the M62 motorway is 2 miles away.

I stayed at the Eskdale Lodge around a year ago and had a lovely stay so re-booked as I was in the area again. I'm pleased to say that the hotel is just as lovely the second time round, I stayed in the same room as before and they also have a new En-Suite. The breakfast is fantastic. The hotel offers nice rooms, a lovely atmosphere and two bars that serve food. Once again I felt completely at home here, and they also allowed me to stay in the bar area with my laptop while awaiting my partner to.
kaikki arvostelut » We loved everything about this hotel from the building its self to the beautiful bathroom. We got upgraded to a bigger room due to a cancellation with no extra charge. The room was spacious, spotless and very quiet for sleeping. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful sorting our taxi for us. We didn't try the food as we went out all evening, but other guests we spoke to said it was wonderful. I can definitely recommend this hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived 2 hours before check in and they still let us into our room. Very clean and welcoming hotel. We visited Manchester to attend a concert at the Ethiad stadium and hotel is only 30 min drive away and within easy access of the motorway and the Trafford Centre. The staff was extreemly freindly and helpful. the place was spit spot clean, very beautiful decorated. the rooms were spacious. There was ample suply of toilatory, coffe and small snacks for the rired kids. it was better than a 5 star hotel. very friendly. room was for 4 people largest bedroom i have ever stayed in. bathroom modern and clean. would really recommend this hotel and would definitley stay there again. very good value. I have stayed a few times now and it is a place i really like - nice bar, nice people and well enough situated. Didnt eat in this time, but last time breakfast was very good. comfort and homely - ideal for our annual trip to manchester united - just recommended to a friend - added extra of being able to watch additional footie in the bar. The Eskdale Lodge was a lovely old place with plenty of character and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was spotlessly clean and great value for money. Stayed in spacious family room with our two grandchildren. Room was very clean with a beautiful ensuite bathroom. Good breakfast served by very friendly staff. staff very friendly, room nice and clean with a good telly. no dirty smells in whole building as can sometimes be expected from bed and breakfasts. free parking. Very comfortable room at a great price. Really Helpful and friendly Staff. A lot of local folk eat there and use the bar which is always a good sign. Staff, regulars and owners very friendly. Dinner and Breakfast were great. Nice overall atmosphere and clean. We were visiting my old home town so excellent for my purposes. Good value for money. It was great that we could eat and drink there too. the staff were friendly and polite and ideally situated for the airport as we had a flight to catch the following day to portugal. Very helpful and friendly staff. We were able to use our room before the allotted time so we could get ready for a wedding. Staff very chatty friendly and very welcoming. This is the second stay, always found the hospitality very good, lovely food and very homely place to stay. the staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly, they will try to accommodate you in every way possible. Very easy to navigate. n/a. I traveled with my friend and we were given a twin room on the top floor. Even though the heating was on it was freezing. Be aware that there aren't any lifts, so be careful if you're not good with stairs. Could use a Fan in the room over the kitchen as it was quite warm until well after midnight. even with the windows open. Could use Soy milk available for breakfast. Only things were we had trouble getting to grips with how the shower worked. Online, it appeared that only continental breakfast available, so a pleasant surprise to be able to have a cooked one. the price of breakfast was not included in the price. Nothing. the food was a little bit on the expensive side. N/A. No phone in the room. Walls a bit thin(not very sound proof). Absolutely hated the noise from the outside garden area until past midnight, due to hot evening which drove party-people outside, and required hotel guests to keep windows open. Parking was difficult in the evenings due to outsiders use of bar etc. Nothing. The Pillows...thin and hard. Only issue I had is it was a bit cold come the night. Shower/bath facilities were disappointing in that they leaked. There was a puddle on the floor every time we used it and the shower itself was weak. Not what we would have expected nowadays. Nothing really, it's all good. No negatives. N/a. Main street traffic noise. Nothing!. Nothing. Nothing comes to mind.
