We like everything about The Cloudesley & to us its THE place to stay if you stay in Hastings. From the beautiful décor to the calm ambience & that,s not forgetting the delicious breakfasts which are unique & so healthy. We love the way there are lots of diverse books & the absence of tv is a big plus too. One can have a relaxing massage just to add to the relaxation. To sum up I could move in no problem!!

Everything! I Loved Everything about this delightful and homely guest house, almost like back home :) Rooms warmly decorated, comfortable and adequate bedding always well kept. Clean, fresh smelling sheets and towels. Greatest of all wonderful and kind hosts. Guest house is centrally located and just about 5 minutes walk to everything you need. I absolutely loved my stay here and I hope to be back sometime next year with my family.

Excellent location. Very close to the town centre and the beach. We went for the Hastings Bonfire Festival and it was literally a couple of hundred meters down the road from the bonfire site and the fireworks. Room (number 2) was clean and fairly large with an excellent small balcony facing the sea. We didn't have any need to contact reception

the room i stayed in was clean and very comfortable, en suite was superb, my room faced the seafront and it was an absolute pleasure to stay there, very quiet hotel in that i was never disturbed by noise from other guests,
have to say i enjoyed one of the best nights sleep i have in over 10 years as a sufferer of insomnia.
and have to say my only regret was i wasnt staying longer, i intend visiting Hastings again and i will make sure i reserve my room at t

We have stayed at the Churchill several times, mainly chosen for location to family we visit. But it is good value, good sized rooms, great Chinese restaurant and good English breakfast.
There was a problem with the shower, but the manager/owner went out of his way to rectify it, even though the hotel was full. The next day, when he should have been off, he came in to make sure we were moved to another room, which was actually bigger. They always give good service.
