Mitä ihmiset sanovat
Runnymede were extremely accommodating when confirming my booking over the phone after i had booked the room online, there had been no record of my Daughter staying too and the Irish lady (didn't manage to get her name apologies) was extremely pleasant and helpful.
The room itself was spotlessly clean- yes a little dated like other people have said but cosy and had everything we needed for the little amount of time we spent in there. I personally couldn't care less if the decor isn't my cup of . kaikki arvostelut »
the excellent standard of the food and the quantity and variety. This was served by very attentive staff. the room was clean with adequate storage for clothes and the washing facilities were good plenty of hot water. there was no noise from other guests. I would rate it higher than the 2 star rating and comparing it to the hotel my sister was staying which was a three star we would say it was much more guest friendly nothing was too much trouble if information was requested.
Perfectly located within easy reach of beach, shopping area and bus
station to take in all attractions. Staff very friendly, smart &
very accommodating. Short stay meant other than room, know nothing of
other hotel facilities. That said, rooms good size with en-suite, very
clean and comfortable - just what we needed! With excellent breakfast
and all at an extremely good price would definitely recommend it!
Thank you.
The location of the hotel was the thing we loved most about it. Its just a few minutes walk from the Town Center and the bus station, and also very near to the St Helier coastline. We were glad we didn't rent a car since there was no need of it at all!
The rooms were clean, and the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast was quite good (full English with cereal, juice and tea/coffee).
Staff amazing! Hotel and breakfast fantastic! Caters very much for the
mature clientele, so as we were doing the 48 mile Itex walk, finishing
at 10pm, we would have loved a late bar, which was not possible.
Seriously the best (if a little cramped) breakfast ever! Great value!
Recommending to friends! Thanks Mary xx.
we really enjoyed our stay there. The staff were very freindly and the service was excellent. The food was excelent and served straight away no waiting for breakfast or dinner. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was idealy situated for the beach and the main street would definatly stay there again.
located in a quite street 4 mins from a white sandy beach also with a lido washed by the tide, attractions and shops near by 10 min walk. although nothing is far away in JERSEY but a do if you can club spa ask if there are any packages well worth the money.would go again.
I really appreciate this hotel! When I came back to Manchester, I realized that I left my shirt in the hotel, which is very important to me. And I called the hotel, she posted it to me!!!! I love the hotel, the staff is friendly, like all the Jersey people!!.
Excellent hotel. Very clean and though the staff are east european they
all spoke fluent english and were extremely helpful and polite.
Breakfast was very good (full english). Location great - only 10 minutes
walk fro the centre of town.
I thought everything about the Hotel was brilliant. The accommodation was clean and tidy, but dated; the staff were first class - everyone, but a special mention to Mary who works tirelssly. The food was excellent - could not fault it.
I loved the convenience of the location, so close to the town and beach.....I was very pleased and felt it was great value for money and very clean indeed, everyone was courteous and friendly...so thank you everyone.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The Hotel location was central within easy reach of everything. Good fresh food with a change of menu provided every day and they were able to accommodate my food allergy.
Excellent location - an easy ten minute walk into St Helier and close to
the beach of Harve Des Pas. Mary (the general manager in practice if not
by title) is highly efficient and most welcoming.
Clean & comfortable, in a good location near the seafront and a few minutes from the town centre. Friendly and efficient managemet and staff. Good, very tasty, breakfast.
The hotel was very clean, and the staff were ever so helpful and also cheerful all the time. The garden out the back is well kept and a lovely place to sit and relax.
Very friendly, welcoming, helpful staff.
Comfortable, clean rooms.
Delicious, perfectly cooked breakfast.
Tasty evening meal, with choices, at a fair price.

Very comfortable room overlooking a fantastic garden.
Mary was the perfect hard working host, and all staff were very cheerful and helpful.
Great location, 2 minutes walk from the Sea and 5 from St Helier Centre. Spacious comfortable rooms, a tradtional easy-going Seaside Hotel.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast very good and plenty of it. Nothing was too much trouble. Would return and recommend.
All the staff but particularly Mary O'Brien were delightfully pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good and served promptly.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Mary the general manager seemed always to be on duty and was extremely efficient.
We were very well looked after by Mary and had a lovely cooked breakfast. The position of the hotel was very good.

cleanliness food very good and the price was right.
Very clean hotel, courteous staff and good value.
Customer service and friendliness was excellent.
Clean, friendly, excellent food & service.
Staff very friendly food good lovely room.
Couldn't fault anything staff so helpful,.
Can't think of anything to put that stood out as something I really didn't like.
Perhaps a little flexibility on breakfast time (0800-0900) may have been
advantageous on Sunday but appreciate running a large hotel means time
efficiency. Some shower gel in bathroom would have been nice too..
The doors of the bathrooms of all three of our rooms didn't lock and were more like the doors of a cupboard with a gap in the middle, so you can hear everything! It was a bit embarrassing since we were all staying with at least one other person in the room.
Also, the WiFi didn't work in two of our rooms on the first floor but worked fine in the room on the second floor and in the dining area.
Everyone in bed early. We are not late night people generally but would
have loved a night cap on holiday, after extreme sport.
there was nothing we did not like about the runnymede hotel.
not a lot too put in this box.
I think the breakfast is delicious but you can choose only the British breakfast. It will be tired of eating the same breakfast for nearly a week.
Only minor moan is that breakfast whilst excellent is only served from
8am - 9am. Paricuarly on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday serving it until
10am would be better.
There is a big problem with WiFi and you could only get it in the lounge which is a bit inconvenient. The other networks needed to be sorted out so that people can use their rooms.
The room above 121 which I was in had creaking floor boards and needs attention - fast.
A lovely cooked breakfast was provided every day also cereals. But if you do not eat cereals a change form the cooked breakfast would be nice like fish and fruit.
Our room was part of a large addition at the back of the hotel which
whilst quiet and looking onto a well tended large internal garden has
not been updated for some years. In particular the plumbing (taps &
shower fittings) need to be upgraded.
Nothing.
No dislikes!.
lack of air conditioning in 2nd floor bedroom under a slate roof. WiFi not availale in each bedroom. Mini fridge not available in the bedroom for povision of cold drinks.
No Parking available at the hotel.
Wi-fi did not work in the room; sliding door to the ensuite was primitive.
Not much of a window for meal times. Only 1 hour for breakfast and half an hour for Dinner.
Bathroom doors.
Liked it all.
Lack of variety for breakfast, poor over-bath shower, thin walls (despite being an old building) - could hear snoring in next room every night!.
Although this hotel suited me I don't think it would suit younger couples. Lacking in entertainment.
We stayed B&B, but tried the evening meal on one occasion.Disappointing decision.
The only comment I could make here is that the breakfast was just between 8 and 9, quite a short time.
the time of the breakfast only one hour 8 till 9.
Limited hours to eat in the dining room.
No car parking (although there was a car park near by).
Food is bit less tasty.
going home.
nothing.
Internet access could be better.
N/A.
Breakfast timings too early for us on holiday (finished serving at 9.30 so not good for lazy starts).
the only bad thing for us there was no car park so thats what we will be looking for next time we come sorry but everthing else was good lovely place.
Being directly under the roof in the very hot weather!.
Beds a bit dated and noisy.
Nothing.
Bit of a walk to town.
