The Four Seasons Hotel is set on the banks of the picturesque Loch Earn and offers breathtaking views of the loch and surrounding hillside. It has 2 restaurants to choose from as well as free Wi-Fi and free private parking. The Meall Reamhar restaurant, open in the evenings, has an ever-changing menu offering such delights as hand-dived Scrabster king scallops and a gateau of Scotch Angus/Limousin beef fillet. The more informal but equally impressive Tarken Room also offers a mix of imaginative and traditional dishes. Some of the Four Seasons’ rooms come with a large four-poster bed and there is also a separate chalet, set higher so to take advantage of the wonderful views on offer. All rooms use natural colours and come with a TV and CD player as well an en suite bathroom. The hotel sits on the A85, and has direct access to the M90 motorway, which is less than 40 minutes away by car. The historic Drummond Castle is only a 20-minute drive and is famous for its impressive terraced gardens.

I got a very warm welcome on my arrival, I stayed in one of the challets and omg absoutly loved it , from walking in... Was a welcoming letter, a plate of home made shortbread, luxury tea and coffee, and the view of loch earn rite out side my bedroom window ! Cldnt fault it at all , was also spotless with lovely the tub toiletries even a rubber duck ! The food and breakfast was first class , an hour into my stay I got my fone out and booked up for 3 more seprate visits cnt wait to go back im co.
kaikki arvostelut » The location was stunning overlooking Loch Earn, the hotel was very tastefully and thoughtfully put together , the food was absolutely first class using local fresh produce . It was also a pet friendly hotel welcoming our two cocker spaniels in most areas of the hotel and without any additional charge . I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone after thoroughly enjoying a very relaxing 2 night stay. Pet friendly hotel in a fantastic location. We stayed in a Chalet which was perfect for us as we had our dog with us. One word of advice when booking a Chalet - ask for No's 2-6 as No.1 does not have an uninterrupted view of the loch. The food was lovely and the waiting staff very friendly and helpful. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The view from the bedroom window was fantastic, we sat in bed in the morning with our coffee and could see all the way down the loch. The food was delicious, very well presented and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again. We loved the chalet that we stayed in, it was very quirky. The breakfast were excellent and the staff were very helpful. The view over the lake from our chalet was amazing. Would love to go back again in the future. The hotel was "pet friendly" which was a big + for us. Lovely friendly staff who did an excellent job of making sure you had a nice stay. Scenery was like something off a chocolate box! Beautiful meal followed by an impromptu sing-a-long in lounge bar before bed. Will definitely be back. Fantastic hotel views out of this world no matter what the weather great location for touring very friendly staff and don't miss out on the porridge for breakfast . Loved the dogs and the art. The staff were great nothing was a bother to anyone. Bathroom a little dated and needed a little attention to detail. Kettle in room needs replacing but we mentioned this on our feedback form and I'm sure its been done already. Nothing. Water pressure of the shower but it wasn't a big deal. I requested a double room as it was our anniversary was disappointed to have twin room and it was the last available chalet on arrival. Nothing. Nothing to be honest. Already looking to book again for later this year,and suggesting to family members to book at same time. The driveway to our chalet above the hotel was atrocious. Steep with loose gravel and an abrupt concrete ridge made it difficult and dangerous. Loch Earn, even though it was scenic, was difficult to enjoy, as private property down to its shoreline made it very difficult to do a decent walk along it. would like to see wider wifi coverage. Nothing. we were staying in the apartment with our 2 young children and unfortunately at night time it got so cold that none of us got a good night sleep!! We could find no way of turning the heating up . On checking out nobody asked how our stay had been. Nothing. The food was not at all bad but could have been better. There was a very steep ramp up to the lodges, which grounded my car. All good. nothing. Chalets need updating, not enough hot water. Dining: Table for 4 reserved for one diner - table for 4 reserved but remained empty - our table for 2 too small to accommodate tableware plus drinks. the small screen TV in the bedroom. Nothing. Nothing, wld certainly stay again!. The weather,a bit wet. nothing to dislike. Having to leave!. N/A. Some of the Decor. A Tibetan/ Eastern style about the Public areas ... should really be very Scottish, it's what overseas visitors in particular would want from a hotel situated on Loch Earn. Food and drink a little pricey. Food prices were a little expensive. There was an ashtray in our room and although the room was clean and well presented I still could smell that a smoker had used the room. Nothing, had a great time!. Didn't have a booking for us when we arrived. midges. nothing. We had to take a double bed when I had requested twins. They had not been forwarded the request by bookings.com It was not ideal but luckily it was my daughter travelling with me, it was birthday treat for her. Our chalet was being used for the first time this year and certain items were wrong. We had to get out of the window to open the door, I repaired the door with a chisel provided by the Management. The (new) plumbing was not turned on and smelled of burning. These things 'happen' but appreciation of our situation with a reduction in charges would have been appreciated - most certainly it was expected but only general staff were on hand when we left, so it was not possible to ask. Make sure you request either double or twin beds on booking. I did and was very happy, but unfortunately other guests hadn't and were heard complaining.
