  The staff could not do enough for us during our stay, they were friendly, approachable and very helpful. The facilities were of a very high standard, especially the spa and pool.   Sam on reception provided a friendly and very relevant and succinct introduction to the hotel. She very helpfully explained what we needed to know - with supporting pieces of paper for us to take away with us - and provided recommendations which turned out to be spot on. We liked being close enough to be able to walk into Canterbury. We - The swimming pool was great in the hot weather - it's not large but you can have a good swim all the same. Breakfast was really tasty and fresh, and the staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room (I was in a twin)was nicely designed and roomy enough. Robes were provided which was great for using the swimming pool. The gardens were nice too.

  It was clean, modern, comfortable and well priced. Staff were very helpful. I was particularly drawn to the fact that the hotel had a swimming pool, although in the event I was too tired to use it!
