  The manager Tony was fantastic. He made us feel very welcome and was freindly.Natalier was also freindly and welcoming.The food that the head chief Sally prepared was excellent it was cooked fresh and served piping hot. The staff that served our breakfast was efficent and also freindly. The room was clean and had sufficent facilaties such as Tea/c... mitä ihmiset sanovat » offee Etc. The bedding was clean and there was plenty of clean towels available in the room. Everyone made us feel so welcome as though we had been go - As a cycling group, several of us arrived late but they kept the kitchen open late to feed us which really was appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up well for our second day of cycling! Lovely place with friendly staff.

  Gary and Marcia were absolutely lovely, and made us feel like house guests. Nothing was too much trouble and food was made freshly for us, with some divine scones for tea.   The views at Beacon House are to die for, from our room, from the breakfast room and from the garden there are magnificent vistas of Brixham Harbour. Nigel was the perfect host with heaps of ideas and suggestions for our stay. A 10 minute walk down the hill and we were at the harbour and town centre, very convenient. Did not have to use our car in... mitä ihmiset sanovat » the two days we were there and I don't think there wasn't too much we didn't get to see. In the three weeks we have been in B&B's around the uk t - The owners, Nigel and Amanda were so friendly and welcomed us both with a pot of tea and homemade flap jack to die for. Nothing was too much trouble. They are new to the area but have embraced Brixham and familiarised themselves with the local history and offer wonderful advice for restaurants and bars. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with everything clean and well maintained and I have never slept in a more comfortable bed. The sun shone in the morning and the views were truly fantastic.

  The hotel is in a gorgeous old building in a quiet neighberhood a bit away from the city. It has the hallmarks of past elegance but is showing its age. However, for cyclist weary from a long day on the road, we loved its lack of pretension. We had a huge room with a gorgeous view over the river. Depending on weather, seating was either outside on a patio or inside full glass, but both were overlooking the garden and the river. It was - The location within yards of the South West Coastal Path. Main bus route at the end of the road. Just a short 1/2 mile walk along the path opposite the hotel to the centre of Bideford. Breakfast was very good, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Cycle hire on the Tarka Trail in approx 1 mile away. The view from the bedroom and dining room over the fiver was superb.
