We went to Port Wenn and left Port Isaac. For us it was the
quintessential Cornish Port town - so much more than what is portrayed
on the show. The location of the Slipway is, oddly enough, across the
lane from the slipway which means you get to wake up to the sound of the
sea and its gulls which is what you would expect from a seaside holiday.

Martin) . The village is very quaint and picturesque The hotel was small
and comfortable. The view of the harbor from the balcony in our room was
wonderful, The breakfast was outstanding and the hotel main menu was
very good. The owners and staff were very friendly and professional.

We booked a suite and it was worth every penny, great views great room great breakfast.
We had a swim and had the pool to ourselves its a little dated and in need of some TLC but you would have to be a real winger to complain about this detail. The lifts worked fine but we opted to walk up the tastefully decorated stairs.

Stayed for a weekend in February 2013 and we enjoyed every minute. Hotel very welcoming, clean, nice and warm.
Restaurant is mega quirky and a joy to relax in.
Leisure area utilised, sauna excellent combined with dips in the pool (Which was a bit fresh!)
The breakfast was - delicious. Plenty of choice to be had both hot and cold.
All in all a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will book again without hesitation!

The service was superb and nothing was too much trouble.
For example -asked for warm milk for coffee on first morning and this choice was remembered each succeeding morning. Local walks were helpfully printed for us. Both my wife and myself remarked that there was no cooking smell at mealtimes. The room was spotlessly maintained each day and used tea and coffee sachets replaced with same. We ate twice in the restaurant, the first time being for our 50th wedding anniversary and enjoyed beautiful

Fantastic location, really friendly staff. Room was lovely and the decoration was modern, crisp and clean. The breakfast was amazing. There was a huge firework display while we stayed and we sat out the front with big mugs of coffee and had the most fantastic view. Extremely well presented hotel and I love the period decor and the ornate wood paneling in the dining room. Breakfast buffet was very good, and the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were extremely clean. It was a very relaxing place to be. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Trenython Manor.
