  Located in a lovely valley with beautiful gardens. The catering options were second to none - breakfast exceptional; dinner and bar snacks excelent value. Could not fault the staff, who were friendly and helpful. The room and bed were very comfortable and well appointed. We would definately not stay anywhere else on Guernsey, the whole ambience of the hotel was so relaxin - The hotel is in a truly stunning setting, looking out over a wooded gully, to the sea. Service was good, as was the food at both restaurants - it's well worth a trip to the Rock Garden for a few cocktails, too! Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in Guernsey. Potential bookers should note that this is NOT in St Peter Port town but a rural location in the parish.

  The hotel is set right on the coast with wonderful views of Corbiere lighthouse. We stayed in October and the hotel was very, very quiet only a few guests. Our room was fantastic as it overlooked the coast, had a balcony and it was large and clean. The room was comfortable and very well fitted out, with a superb view. The Cafe South, with similar sea views, is a delightful place for breakfast and dinner, and the food was excellent. Special mention must be made of all the restaurant staff, who were exceptionally friendly and efficient - by the time we left, we felt like we were old friends. We will certainly recommend this hotel, and wish the owners every success for
