The owners were incredibly welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was lovely - very clean and very comfortable equipped with everything that you need. The breakfast was home cooked to order - absolutely fantastic. Very friendly place to stay and great location being so close to the Quay and town centre. Perfect if you want to park your car up and wander around Poole without the worry of parking. Very nice breakfast in the morning too.

Full english breakfast with free tea top-up's extra £10 - good value. the queen mary is two mins from the port, so is ideal if you've got a late or an early morning ferry.clean confortable rooms and a bar down stairs.will be staying here again. Inn had good parking for guests, room was nice with an en-suite. As we were catching an early morning ferry was able to pay the night before and key hand in was easy. made welcome by owners, friendly local pub, food was good, cleanliness, on site parking, location, short walk to the centre of the town and the quay. The room was clean but very small and quality of furnishings was under our expectations for 100 pounds per night, given that we have stayed in B&Bs and hotels inCornwall andDevon and London (59 pounds in Ascot) with superior comfort and breakfast included. Location was ideal for our purposes and the evening meal we had was good value for money. Walking distance from Poole station. Not suitable for long periods as on busy main road and a B+B rather than a hotel. Hot water tempremental. Nothing. room a little cramped and TV too high on the wall!. Nothing. There was a set of traffic lights on the busy road which the room overlooked. This meant that it was quite noisy when cars were idling at red lights and zoomed off when they turned green. Location on a busy road. Unfortunately the Queen Mary Inn did not live up to our expectations from the photos on the website. We felt that it was very over-priced for the level of accommodation. Compared to other properties we have stayed in on our trip, this was at least 40 pounds over-priced. The bedroom was overpriced for the facilities. Noisy. Right on the junction of 2 main roads. Surrounded by industrial and office buildings. Price far too high 100 pounds. Biscuits offered with tea on first day of stay only. Presumably nobody has been stupid enough to stay for 2 days! Pub itself is at best unattractive inside and out - only for regular locals.
