The guesthouse was very clean and comfortable, in a country location and we were made to feel extremely welcome. Jon and Cherry offered lots of helpful advice of places to visit. The breakfast menu offered an excellent and filling choice. The availability of an evening meal was convenient for us and again the choice was very good. The bar was well stocked and the dining room/comfy seating area made somewhere pleasant to sit in the evening. kaikki arvostelut »

The attention to detail of the owners, Jon and Cherry e.g. providing chocolates in our room as well as a hot drinks tray.
The breakfasts, especially the scrambled egg and smoked salmon.
Their helpfulness and the general friendly atmosphere.

Lovely and super-friendly owners, and we were made to feel like we were in our own home. Very small room, but we knew that. Cosy.

Breakfast was very nice.
The position of the guesthouse was easy to find being on a main road.
Very friendly staff - comfortable bed - excellent breadfast.
Meals and drinks were a bit too expensive for our budget.
Nothing springs to mind.
nothing.
Nothing.
Little hard to locate due to it being in Kilmore which is near Oban, possibly needs better instructions on the booking form but this is only a slight criticism .
Couldn't fault a thing.
We had a job finding it because there is another Braeside Guest House in Oban which you reach first. If Kilmore was added to the address, it would be less confusing. It was well worth the journey though.
Nothing.
as you entered guesthouse there was always a smell of hot oil ( diesel) as if their boiler/cooker was faulty) I remember someone else saying there was a smell of petrol. Also washand basin was in the bedroom so not totally ensuite.
Location out of town.
The smell of petrol at certain times.
There is nothing to dislike.
The room was rather small.
The smell of the oil fired burner throughout the building.
Not really in Oban - more than three miles out of the town and only accessible by car - no nearby facilities.
The double bed was very small. We'd roll over to the middle. Small
ensuite. Lots of noise from the other guests. The door/walls
weren't very sound proof.
