I like the Central nature of apartments unlike those on the Quay - the people watching through the windows was amazing - A little lively at night but hey yo are City Centre - The apartments are 100 metres from the Monument metro stop with easy and I mean easy access to Airport and Station. Shopping was easy M and S food hall less than 100 metres away and tens of cafes/bars and eateries. Fantastic apartment in brilliant location. Shoppers just could not find anywhere more appropriate. Staff were very friendly and our group of four girls felt we were staying in someone's flat, not a hotel. We would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely book a "girlies" trip again next year.kaikki arvostelut »
The experience was very pleasuureable! The staff where out of this world and did everything in their power to make our stay as comfortable as possible!! Would like to especially thank Kate who was very nice to us and helped with anything we needed!! Thanks Kate!!!!. Great location, lovely facilities, very friendly and helpful staff and the room was fantastic value for money. It was like living home from home rather than in a hotel.Fantastic central location. Large comfortable rooms. Our top floor apartment had city rooftop views and was quiet. I recommend apartment 505. It was a very central location and the rooms were big and bright very comfortable, like home from home. Staff were friendly and helpful.Home from home. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Newcastle after staying here. Absolutely exceptional!. This place is fantastic, cannot fault it, everything you need, except hangers! Even croissants in the freezer!. The hotel was very well priced and very open inside lots of room to move. Good view of Street (although my colleagues were not so lucky and got blank walls). Fabulous city location, superbly appointed appartment, could have stayed a week!!!. Location and comfort. the centralisation of the apartments was great all within the main shopping area.Central position, Nice clean apartment, lots of space, clean, friendly staff. close to venue for graduation. The convienance for city centre shopping and restaurants.The lift was an added bonus as we had quite a few items of luggage laptops ect. the comfort of home and accessible to all shops and transport. reception staff verry friendly/ helpful. good location. The peacefulness in the apartment despite being right in the city centre was wonderful and just being allowed to come and go as we pleased without ever being asked if everything was alright for us. No cafetiere in the kitchen, just instance coffee sachets.Delivery Van Below at 3am, Though I had booked a double room and got twosingles pushed together with seperate duvets. possibly better sign posted on the outside!!. room was not ready at two o,clock. No.I understand you have no control over the esarly morning revellers and their noise.a lobby complete with booklets/phamplets for tourist quidelines.info for in and around city would be great. not realy, but no parking made it a little awkward, but we managed ok. Lack of parking. Noise of delivery lorries thro'out the night. The kitchen could have been a bit cleaner - the hob was greasy and we found an empty milk carton under the settee in the kitchen. No parking, even for a short time at hotel. the fire doors between the lift area and the apartments banged very loudly when opened and closed and could be heard inside apartment. Lift was out for half a day and electiricity off for 20 mins. dirty plates in cupboard and the shower screen was moldy. One window drafty not fixed (I've stayed in the same apartment three times now over Sep, Oct, Nov). Hard bed. Blinds in bedroom did not block out lights outside.
Lots of noise in the eraly hours because of location. Lots of stairs to carry your luggage up just to reach reception. Room not cleaned well, we found hairbrush and mess under bed, and mess/debris under the sofas. Also, if you want to a cigarette you have to stand on the high street (even at night in your pyjamas). Really need to introduce a smoking shelter somewhere!. Not knowing the area it took me an age to park. It would be good to mention there is a Car Park on John Dobson Street nearby.Very little sleep as noisy generaters outside each bedroom.
