The Granary is situated in Monknash, with uninterrupted views of the stunning Heritage Coast. It is a 5-star suite in a converted barn, offering picturesque gardens and magnificent homemade food.
A sumptuous 3-course breakfast is served in the traditional dining hall, with a vaulted ceiling and wooden beams and flooring. Food is made from local ingredients, and the eggs come from The Granary’s own hens.
The Granary Suite has a king-size bed with fine bed linen. There is a seating area with a flat-screen TV, leather chairs, and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the suite, and free private parking is possible on site.
The building is surrounded by country walks and historic monuments. St Donat’s Castle is a 5-minute drive away, and Llantwit Major is 10 minutes from the building.

The warm and friendly welcome - we were treated as friends by Phillipa and Glyn. The breakfasts cooked by Phillipa were tasty and delicious, and Phillipa remembered from the first day what we liked. The bed was SO comfortable, we slept better than at home. Suggestions for places to visit were spot on. We ate at he local pub 200 yards away each evening because the whole menu was excellent. Simply everything. This was the best stay of our trip so far. We were made so welcome, and felt like we were part of a special family. Went to local pubs for dinner and were looked after like royalty after Phillipa made the bookings for us. Great food both nights. We will be returning, as this is just a magic place to relax. The breakfast was simply superb and the best of everything. Worth every minute of a fantastic stay.

Glyn and Philippa are excellent hosts, fantastic breakfast, very nice room, cosy bed and good bathroom. Spectacular coastline, direct access to the coath path. Great pub 5 mins walking.
