Many thanks to the hosts -we had a lovely time at Victoria Gate B&B. The hosts are friendly and very helpful in every way. As soon as we arrived we were offered afternoon tea and scones (a really nice touch). The property was in a nice location overlooking the city and a lovely new house. The room and en-suite were lovely - well-appointed and all spotlessly clean. Needless to say, The b'fast was great too with quite a variety - including the full hot b'fast - very nice.

The room was my favourite of all the other B & B's we stayed in over 18 days in Ireland. The owners were very friendly and spent time to chat with you. I was sorry I didn't book this for an extra night. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of options. Excellent location- close to Derry/Londonderry. Standard of accommodation was very high. Friendly owners, did everything possible to make me feel welcome. Breakfast was a particularly high point of my stay. There was such a wide choice of food. Rooms were very pleasant, exceptionally clean and modern. Would certainly recommend a stay here, if you are visiting Derry/Londonderry. The family run business is home from home so friendly i would recommend it to everybody . I will return to stay with this lovely family again . Victoria B&B offers a nicer service than most hotels I've been too... you have got to try the Victoria house fry in the morning & the pancakes & the Creme Crowns ! The family were extremely friendly and accommodating, and even picked us up from the bus station which was very much appreciated. There was a great view of Derry from our room, everything was very clean and the breakfast was fabulous. We would recommend to everyone. Claire was so lovely and went above and beyond. The room was magnificent and perfect. The baking smells as you opened you door for breakfast each morning were just divine. You are one in a million Claire and thank you for a perfect stay in Derry. We liked he quiet friendly staff. The room was large, and the bed was the most comfortable during our Ireland trip. The amenities were very high quality. The city views were great. Very quiet in the evening. Lots of little extras. Warm welcome with tea and scones on arrival. Beautiful home with lovely views. The owner kindly dropped me off for dinner downtown and then came back and picked me up so I could enjoy a glass of wine. This was a wonderful place to say. The couple who own it are a lovely couple, very friendly and helpful. It was much better than alot of hotels and B&B's I have stayed in before. 10/10. We walked into town in the evening, but it may be a little too far for some and therefore you may want to take a cab. Everything was excellent, very difficult to find fault with this B & B. nothing everything was brilliant. Could not stay longer :-(. Nothing. N/A. Nothing - cannot find anything to criticise. It's a 20 min walk to the centre but luckilythis was not a big issue thanks to the owners coordinating their trips into town. We had a bit of trouble finding it. Having to leave. The lack of signposting on the main road. Difficult to find, a bit far from the city. Nothing liked everything.
