Nightingale House offers affordable B&B accommodation in the suburbs, just a 4-minute drive from Derry city centre and Derry Airport. It provides rooms with large wall-mounted flat-screen TVs, free WiFi and free parking. Rooms at the Nightingale have artistic furnishings and feature work desks, safes and tea/coffee-making facilities. Rooms include bathrooms with power showers, hairdryers, robes and slippers. Continental breakfasts are served each morning in the conservatory-style dining room, which overlooks the garden. With modern artwork on the walls, the bright guest lounge has deep red leather sofas and a selection of reading material. Foyle International Golf Course is a 15-minute walk away whilst Ireland’s North Atlantic Coastline is a 15-minute drive. There are plenty of countryside walking routes in the area and fishing and water sports are available locally.

You would be hard pressed to find anything to criticize about this B&B. The décor, facilities and comfort of the room was excellent. The landlady charming and friendly. Cleanliness, service and overall accommodation superb. Thoroughly enjoyed. our stay. Only problem, and this has nothing to do with the proprietor is the way letsbookhotel.com deal with customers online. There is confusion whether you have paid them or not. But this has nothing to do with the B&B in fact the hostess finds.

Breakfast involved a massive spread of pretty much everything and I was even offered food off menu when i mentioned i was a vegetarian. Fantastic hostess/service. Bed was very comfortable and the room refreshed when we were out. All in all, a pretty perfect stay. Hostess is friendly and couldn't do enough to make holiday fabulous. Delicious food, comfortable bedroom with ensuite, lots of information about sites both ancient and modern. Lovely walk into Derry. Great base for many sites around Northern Ireland. Definitely will return!. Tastefully decorated rooms, friendly and welcoming proprietor and conveniently situated - what more can anybody ask? A massive breakfast, and genuinely nothing was too much trouble, We'll definitely stay there again!. We were made very welcome in a home from home atmosphere the owner Isabel was a great host the she had the biggest choices we've ever seen for breakfast we would definitely go again!. Beautiful rooms and facilities. Wonderful host - we loved her. Fabulous breakfast. Gave us first class advice on locations, restaurants, directions. Personal touch. I enjoyed that the room catered for every need. Isobell was great craic and made sure you enjoyed your stay. Highly recommend. Very friendly host, the rooms very cosy and clean and the design was very unusual yet very stylish. Hostess was amazing. Room beautiful and the company of fellow guests most enjoyable. That there is no right of reply for the host when she is slighted by nasty arrogant visitors who are untruthful rude and out of order. Nothing. The shower pressure wasn't strong enough for me.
