  Kensington is a very good part of London to stay for a short break. There are of couple of lovely restaurants in the neighborhood, but you have to take a closer look at the menu before you enter, because prices are very different and high prices do not guarantee a good meal.   The staff on reception were exceptionally helpful on our arrival and allowed us to check in 3 hours early and parked the car for us. There was a computer in the room and broadband was free. I wish I had known about the complimentary tea/coffee/cakes which were out of view in a cupbord in the room and I only found out later when booking out.

  We had a deluxe room. It was immaculately clean on arrival as well as after being serviced each daty. The room looked newly renovated. It was large by London standards, as was the bathroom. There was always good water pressure and plenty of hot water. All the staff we dealt with was helpful. We stayed during a hot spell and the air conditioning wo... mitä ihmiset sanovat » rked well. Breakfast was fine, but I will agree with other reviewers who said the coffee was awful. The breakfast room was was warm, but the fans help - The hotel was in an excellent location only a few minutes walk from Kensington High St underground. There were lots of shops, restaurants and coffee shops just outside of the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for you. Rooms are small but excellent value for money by London standards. The price we paid included a continental breakfast so even better value. I would definitely stay here again. Well done to the staff for running such a well maintained and fr
