Mitä ihmiset sanovat
We really enjoyed the stay at the London Visitors Hotel. Even though we
booked a basic twin room with shared bathroom, they upgraded us to a
nicer room ensuite. The hotel was one of the cleaniest I've seen
and it was warm and cozy. The rooms decoration are not the best but the
cleanliness and the size of them make forget this fact. The breakfast
is good. There is not a huge variety of food but it is enough for a
breakfast and the croissants are very decent! It is located 20 minutes
walking time. kaikki arvostelut »
We had the absolute best experience at the London Visitors Hotel. It is a beautiful building, lovingly remodeled. Our room was plenty big for 3 adults and an 11 year old. The staff was absolutely amazing, very kind and attentive. I had to take a trip to the ER and the staff called a taxi for us, offered to make me chamomile tea while we waited, and was genuinely worried. You don't find that kind of concern everywhere! Breakfast was great, but I'm a bread and boiled eggs kind of girl so it .
My friend and I had an excellent stay here while in London. The room was small but perfect since we really only wanted to sleep there. We ended up with a bathroom in our room which was great. The staff was always very helpful and always asked about our days. I loved the decour of the hotel and the continental breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again! Close to bus and tube stations and so close to Kensington Gardens for a beautiful walk!.
loved the area and the very comfortable sitting room with a fire, and board games and books to read. lovely breakfast room with an excellent continental breakfast. excellent heating everywhere which was great as london was icy during our stay. we were offered tea in the afternoon wich was really nice. very good showers a floor down from our room which we found no problem. we had a lovely 5 days in this hotel.
Friendly staff, simple but good breakfast, good value, very good
cleaning, quiet even if our room was towards the street, good bathroom
and shower, comfortble beds, beutiful classical decoration and design.
We had expected a good budget hotel based on previous reviews, pictures
and price, but it was much better than we'd expected, almost luxury.
For a 2 star hotel this is a beautiful English traditional hotel, much better than other 4 star hotels I have stayed in London, very good value for money. My room was spacious, very clean and had a very nice view. The staff was extremely helpful. I had a late flight and they let me stay in my room until late afternoon with no extra charge!.
It's a very nice hotel with friendly staff. Clean towels and made bed every day, breakfast is ok. The location is brilliant, calm and quiet yet only 2 mins from the bus that takes to the heart of the city. Check it on the map, it's simply in the greatest area of London. Traveled with parents (age 60+), all of us liked the place very much.
The room was very clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a bit nicer than the impression I got from the photos online. We had plenty of space and had no real complaints about the room, which for the price is hard to beat. The hotel is situated in a nice neighborhood, with an upscale pub across the street.
Included breakfast was nice. The desk staff were ridiculously friendly. Check-in for us took place in the lounge area by the fire. The receptionist took us through all the details of our stay, and gave us tips on reaching tourist attractions etc. We all felt it was a nice touch.
The breakfast was very tasty and delicious. It had everything someone needs for the first meal of the day. The room was very big and the bed so soft and confortable. The stuff was really helpful and kind and the location was ideal for a tourist...
Very nice place to stay. The staff is kind and helpful and the room is much larger than expected with a basin and microwave oven inside. Very near to Kensington Olympia station and you can take a bus 9 or 10 to city center as well.
Good location and fairly easy to get to by the underground; good
price; clean; complimentary tea and coffee; fairly basic accommodation
but has everything you need, I was perfectly comfortable staying there
for four nights.
Super friendly and helpful staff
Excellent location, room and bath were clean and tidy, the breakfast was really good. Excellent value for the price we paid.
I really liked polish receptionists. They are friendly and very helpful.
Good location to travel around London. Green surroundings and
comfortable lounge.
our studio room was lovely and comfortable and made our stay even more enjoyable. A helpful and lovely lady on the front desk too.

Really good value for money, Really friendly staff, cheap reliable internet, close to tube stations.
Easy to get to the city center, there is nice pub close to the hotel.
Hotel staff is very helpful.
The staff upgraded us to a room with an ensuite bathroom, which was great. Good value for money.
Design of hotel, it's so cute english style.
Very polite and careful staff
Location of hotel.
This is a perfect hotel for a quick trip to London,.
Everything perfect quality-price and good location.
The location is best. Very near to tube station.
Friendly and helpful staff, very clean and tidy.
- Very convenient location
- Friendly staff.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
comfortable place, good friendly staff.
Location, Staff, Breakfast, rooms.
helpful staff/clean amenities.
the staff is very friendly.
Very friendly service.
Very nice staff, continental breakfast was very good (bread, croissants, cereal, cheese, ham, coffe, tea...). Rooms were clean and had 2 or 3 european plugs, very convenient. Shared bathrooms were clean most of the time: there are 3 toilets and 2 showers and there were never crowded. Simple room with sink and basic furniture. Nice house, a bit old and creaky. Quiet neighbourhood but supermarkets and shops close.
Bus lines and underground stops to the center very close.
Fair quality for the pri.
Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom small but adequate with plenty clean towels and complementary shampoo etc. Free WiFi. Ground floor sitting room (with extraordinary psychedelic wallpaper!!).
actually a good position fairly close to kensington high street.
wifi very good value and fast. offered coffee and tea on demand whilst not available in the room.
the staff are friendly, location is good, very near to the bus station which you can get buses to the city center. near to westfield shopping mall. the heat.
I liked the family feeling - the place had a victorian style mixed with its own. Excellent location.
Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Good location for West London, friendly staff, good WiFi, nice breakfast room and lounge between Victorian and neoclassical.
Friendly staff. Beautiful interior! Very cozy and clean. Recommendable!.
the staff was wonderful very helpful.
Very clean.
I swear there is nothing good about this hotel.
The staff could be a little bit nicer.
Everything was great!.
no tv ,but we did not mind. we had an attic room which initially we found very small, but at the end of our stay we just found it cosy.
Nothing. No one in our family had any complaints.
Breakfast could be better with some healthier choices (fruit, yogurt) but lets not forget it is free... A bit noisy with squeaky floors and thin walls, but again it is an old traditional hotel...
liked everything.
The Kensington (Olympia) tube station doesn't operate normal hours, so we usually took a bus to reach a tube station, which required a bit more transit time than we had anticipated. The breakfast was edible and filling, but the comments about it being more limited than most hotels are accurate. The staff were helpful to a point, but they were not exactly accomodating.
Nothing I can fairly complain about. You get what you pay for. We decided to opt for the cheaper option with a shared bathroom, which was the floor below us. Having said that it wasn't a massive inconvenience to us. Plus the shared bathroom had great pressure, temperature, and was obviously cleaned and stocked regularly.
The only negative was the floor especially at night. We could hear people walking from the upper floor but it wasn't such a big problem when we fell asleep.
As mentioned in a previous comment, the breakfast was a bit lacking in
anything like fresh fruit or yoghurt. The Internet wasn't free, but
the connection was very good.
There should be free coffee service in the lounge. Please leave the
lounge open after 22.00 people will see each others.
breakfast was basic but I won't complain too much for the price.
small dining room - we had to wait for free seats, small room.
No elevator.
wifi was a bit unstable
sometimes no signal on tv.
Very noisy at night (not good for light sleepers - window needed to be left open to keep cool (room was quite warm), and busy road outside.
If you need hairdryer you need to take it from the reception desk. It
would be more convinient if there is hairdryer in each room.
The room was very small and the dining room was too small as well. Sometimes we had to wait to get space to have breakfast. No fruit.
Breakfest menu so poor.
Traffci on the mainroad, but it was not really disturbing.
Hotel got no elevator.
Rooms and breakfast room a bit small.
Breakfeast menu was the same everyday and the choice was limited.
common bath and toilets.
nothing.
breakfast hours coudl be extended to 10:30/11.
room cleanliness.
You can expect to hear some noise from the corridors and adjacent rooms, nothing major.
There are 3 floors and no lift and your room may be in a different floor from the bathroom.
Shower not very forceful. Breakfast coffee - the worst kind of instant. Generally drab decor/colour scheme.
fairly basic accomodation, but in-line with london prices for the same, bit noisy by the main road.
the breakfast is too simple and there is no kettle in the room.
not enough water pressure.
double bed was too small.
For my front room, BioEars (earplugs) increased comfort; curtain not dark enough.
No desk or chair in the very small room. Breakfast room far too small.
Guests have to wait too often until they can take a seat - with another
almost empty "living" room (a few big chairs, fireplace) just
nearby, which of course could be used as second breakfast room...
the breakfeast.
Poor quality mattress. Noisey creaking floor boards. Very thin walls, you can hear people in the next room. No television in room.
The fact that they did not offer single beds in many romms.
Where can I start the room they give us is the smallest room infact
other rooms they show us was small too. Its very far from nearest
underground so dont you dare to think you can walk. No new towels came
on the other night of our stay. And the day we have the check-in a
cleaner just walked into the room early morning around 7am without
knocking on the door. So dont want to waste you time to make it more
descriptive just want to say seriously "dont Go to this
hotel"...
