The Cambrian is right in the middle of Llangollen...a 2 min walk from the main street. It has its own secure car park.
The owner was helpful and friendly and breakfast was good. OK the decor is a bid dated but NOT tatty/grubby, it's no boutique hotel but that was of no concern to me! The whole place is very clean and the bed was comfy.
If your after a place to crash, be it for a night or more, that's welcoming, clean, pleasant, with a helpful courteous owner then book this before everyone els. kaikki arvostelut »
The owners of Cambrian house are so welcoming and friendly with good knowledge of the surrounding areas. Breakfast was lovely and everything you coul possibly want if available There is no doubt that the building needs some attention, but for the cost an location it's well worth a stay.

food was excellent,.
Friendly staff.
We like Llangolen & being just round the corner from the shops &
pubs. The owner was very nice & the room was ready for us although we
arrived early. It was good to have 2 chairs to sit on with a small
table.A Box of tissues in the room is always a bonus.Private secure
parking is good for our motorbike & locked up at night.
The host was friendly, professional and helpful. We appreciated that the need for a Gluten free breakfast was addressed.
The owners were friendly and the breakfast were nice.
Helpful staff, excellent location.
Convenient location.
Good location.
nothing!.
The house needs upgrading. Everything else was fine.
On a main road so a little noisy in the day, but quiet at night. Decor of the room was a little tired. En-suite was a little snug i.e. the toilet was very close to the shower tray.
That I had to come back to London !!.
Nothing I didn't like.
I battled with the very steep staircase but as the property is 180 years old I just had to be careful!.
Bit. Chilly! A lovely old house needs a fireplace & sitting room?
More choice for b.fast, continental style would have been good?
Need some new mattresses!
Using local breads etc for b.fast is nice idea and ? Fairtrade products on offer.
Noisy toilet/plumbing and there were no mirrors either in the room or the en suite.
Wifi was poor almost unusable. Staff knew this but had not fixed. Minor but it was advertised as a feature.
decocore was very dated and needs renewing.
No mirror in the room or en-suite so had to go to the general bathroom opposite when needed.
The room was a bit dated, and needed a bit of tlc.
We didn't know it was long weekend so it was very crowded. our fault for not checking.
Nothing.
Back of the wardrobe fell out when I put my leather jeans on the shelf
& the whole thing wobbled.4 Poster bed was diy as well not a real
one, it was a normal bed with bits added.Small shower room & sink in
the bedroom. Breakfast had burnt bits on everything.I Thought it was
overpriced at £65 as we had just come from a far superior place for £50
but, without breakfast.
There were periods when the room was quite cold. The TV had a signal that was so intermittent as to be unwatchable. We were only there one night so to be fair the owner had no chance to address these, nor did we raise them with him.
It was clean but very basic we also had a issue with the owner that he
was not going to let my dog sleep in my car overnight, which he has done
on many occasions before,we stayed a second night at the Chain Bridge
Hotel, for £5 extra each ,and the quality of the room was far superior.
Very creaky bed!.
Requires a lady's touch.
Its a little bit tired and dated.
