The look of the building is every inviting.. ''olde worlde ''more like a castle..in a nice suberb of liverpool.. nice friendly helpful staff & a varied menu with plenty of beers on tap...our room was large-ish with en-suite bathroom T.V. Tea making facilities & very peaceful nights sleep ... breakfast is traditional english or just cereal's if you wish..
the hotel is close to the M62 & a ten minute drive in the city..

Welcome when i arrived was friendly and very warm.
The size of the room i booked.
The huge car park meant my car was safe.
The helpfullness of the staff,even getting an extra heater for our room(it would have been fine for us but my 12 week old son was complaining).
The pub and food downstairs was reasonably priced and tastey,and full of locals.
The bed was super comfy.
The security;we had a room key,corridor key and frobt door key. I felt safe here.
Lovely Hotel, Room with 4 poster bed, large room very comfortable, shower excellent. Staff very friendly & helpful. Double & single rooms just as good facilities. would definitely recommend and stay again.
Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and Brian never stopped working, highly recommended, rooms basic but functional, spotless and good value for money.

The layout of the pub means lots of stairs, many many stairs.
couldn't stay longer, would loved to have had time to look around local area.
