  Fine old building with lots of character, pleasant dining room & bars, some interesting old prints/paintings. Food was good.Completely comfortable - friendly, helpful staff. Our family room was light and airy, with windows on two sides.Situated close to the excellent Richard Garret museum of mechanical engineering, and the Aldeburgh coast. Excellent situation, 8 minutes drive from Snape Maltings and near the coast. Easy parking. HUge rooms with comfortable beds and lashings of hot water. Fantastic coffee!
