I could fault nothing with regards to Ashurst Lodge, Torquay. Greeted on arrival, shown to our room. Had everything we needed for a night away.

Brilliant customer service. We were constantly looked after and the atmosphere in the bar and at breakfast was so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Dave was very friendly and accommodating offering advice on where to eat and visit for different budgets. The food was good, freshly cooked and tasty. There is a small bar which has enough beverages to cover most tastes. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Would definitely visit again.

A very nice hotel, with friendly and very helpful staff. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We called in early in the morning and as our room was ready we were allowed to book in straight away rather than waiting until the afternoon which was very helpful. -

The rather grand and very traditional style, especially of the spacious dining and reception areas on the ground floor. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Very good Full English breakfasts. Helpful staff. Good location, facing the sea, on the western edge of central area but easy walking distance to the harbour and town. Ample car parking space.
