  The staff at Becket was welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and the place felt private and familiar yet was right in the thick of Oxford. Breakfast was delicious and Marie was incredibly helpful and accommodating.   I stayed a night before an interview. Carol, the landlady/ manager is very friendly, exactly the lovely hallmark character of this B&B as described by others on TripAdvisor. Friendly welcome, lovely room, comfortable and clean. It's next to Abingdon road so obviously you can hear some traffic but not disturbing. She gave us good advice and recommendations and helped make our whole visit a delightful experience. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. We booked 2 nights but enjoyed it so much we had to stay a third night.
