  The small dent in my wallet when I left; I was warmly welcomed, had a clean comfortable room, a hot working shower, a large breakfast, and on-site free parking, two minutes walk from my venue, the Guildhall.   We liked the spaciousness of the room and bathroom, the comfortable bed, the cleanliness and the friendly and helpful staff and good breakfasts. - I loved the hotel for the extremely friendly atmosphere when I arrived at the hotel. The reception staf where more than riebdly and helpful.

  Good value for money, can't complain about price. However it would have been good to know that there is no bathroom, but only a toilet, and that the shower is a cabin within the room. As we shared our room with my mother-in-law, it required a bit of turning the eye and covering up while getting ready to shower and after the shower. So if you need your shower - receptionist (Vicki) was very friendly upon check-in. I was afraid it would be noisy as it fronted onto a busy road but didn't hear a thing all night. bed was comfortable. single room was smallish but adequate for my one night stay. next door to mcdonalds if don't want to pay for hotel breakfast and close to ikea, supermarkets and entertainment venues. close to train station and coach station (can walk it) and about a 6 pound taxi fare to the cruise terminals.

  The staff are the best ever experienced in a hotel. It is in a fantastic location, with lots of shops and bars/pubs within a minute or two walk.
