  Location... not far from Queen Street station by taxi and as we were going to a concert in the SECC being able to walk via the walkway was a huge benefit. Despite the hotel being really busy the staff were efficent and very chatty. I have never slept in a bed so big and comfy before. It is ideal for all types of travellers. good walking distance to the city centre. the room was well presented and of a good size. - The layout of the room and facilities contained within it , ie tv , dvd and cd player. The faciltiy of obtaining loaned dvd's fromt he reception was also a good idea.

  This hotel is great! So lovely and clean, the rooms are massive & the bed is rather comfy!! Me & my boyfriend stayed in the lorne hotel 16th February after the x factor tour at the secc. Cracking Indian resteraunt within the hotel which I would recommend. Nice bar area, good choice for business or pleasure, but it is about a mile or 2 from the city centre, however, pleanty of cabs and £3.50 fare t

  The rooms were of a luxurious standard and spotlessly clean. The breakfast selection was amazing and the plates and food were piping hot.
