  Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The 24/7 reception and the locking of the doors at night made the place very safe in this particular part of Camden town. Being a student lodge for the most part I was pleasantly surprised how quiet the building was at night and how clean it remained at all times. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff was great. The managers are all young and very friendly, helped a lot when I had to prolong my stay. The design is calm and I like that every room had a stacked book shelf with all kinds to choose from.   Friendly staff, my wife and I enjoyed our stay. This was under £100 to stay on Sunday night, so good value. I don't know whether it would be the same value for standard rate (sometime twice as much). Hotel rooms were of adequate size and very clean. Breakfast was in the price and usual British fried breakfast of sausage, bacon, eggs, scrambled egg... mitä ihmiset sanovat » s and stewed tomatoes. Toast laid on too. Hotel is slightly back from Euston Rd nearer to St Pancras than Euston and in a nice Victorian crescent of t - Front desk staff extremely nice and helpful. Street and neighborhood are safe and quiet, yet within 10 minutes walk of three tube stations, Kings Cross, Euston Square, and Russell Square. Rooms may be small, and stairs narrow, but you can't beat the charm of this historic building and neighborhood. Hearty buffet breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Very close to Lancaster Gate station and within walking distance to Paddington, Bayswater, Edgware Road, Oxford Street, Hyde Park, etc. The staff who received us on Sunday afternoon, 29Sep was very efficient & friendly. The room was cleaned, the towels and coffee/ tea were replenished every day. The wifi connection was excellent! - The location is great. Just opposite the Lancaster Gate station and bus station to Piccadilly and Westminster, and 5 min walk to Paddington station. The room we stayed in was recently refurbished and looks very good. The sofa is a sofa-bed and so useful for small family. There is a bedroom and so not a studio. Kitchen and toilet are both new and clean. Hot water supply is good as well.
