With a quiet, peaceful location, looking out over Pearson Park, the hotel offers free parking and comfortable accommodation at great-vale rates, just a mile (1.6 km) from the city centre.
The Pearson Park Hotel consists of 4 Victorian buildings housing 30 individually decorated en suite rooms, all with their own unique charm. Some of the rooms have four-poster beds, some have stunning views across the park and some have both. All of the rooms have a TV and tea/coffee making facilities, including Fairtrade tea, coffee and chocolate.
Free wireless internet access is available in all of the rooms.
As you gaze across the Victorian park while enjoying a relaxing drink from the bar, it is hard to believe that the hotel is only a mile from the very heart of Hull’s city centre. The University and most of the city’s major attractions are within easy reach, including The Deep (the city’s aquarium) and the KC Stadium. The city’s new transport interchange is also close by, as is the new St. Stephen's shopping centre. The bohemian Avenues area of the city, with all of its lively bars and restaurants is also nearby.
The restaurant also overlooks the beauty of the park and offers quality food, freshly cooked.
Free private parking is available on site for guests.

Lee, the receptionist/everything else was very happy whch is always a pleasant suprise. Staff that enjoy their job. The staff were lovely and looked a nice hotel very quaint Breakfast was very good. Lovely position across the road from the park.the food and the service was excellent. The food was excellently cooked.Friendly staff, good room. Food was excellent. atentive staff. Friendly, efficient. We choose Pearson Park for its location and competitive pricing. If it is the luxury end of the market you are looking for, then this is not the hotel for you. If you are looking for basic, good value, then try this place. This was our third visit and we will definitely go back. central location, view over park, friendliness of staff. Quiet location, easy parking, friendly staff. very friendly staff, nice location. Friendly staff. Convenience. quiet. Helpfull and friendly staff. Maybe the breakfast wast the best. Otherwise this place belongs to the category "dirtiest places" I have seen the last 10 years. The shower did not produce much water either. And when I looked out into the park in the morning, I noticed a lot of littering and asked myself where the good English education had left off. I also wondered how this hotel would attract people for a wedding reception. It was convenient for the purpose of my stay in Hull, there was parking space available . The bed linen was very clean. Hotel staff very pleasant. nothing. position. Location. All Stairs and no lift. top of the head board on the bed was dirty. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable.I am an above knee amputtee accompanied by my wife and 2yr old and 4 mth old girls I gave our information on our reservation but was given a room up two separate staircases and several corridors. We felt that the breakfast was not as hot as it should have been and the kitchen ran out of things on the Sunday.Although the bedroom and bathroom were ok they do need updating/refurbishing - the sink unit in the bathroom had obviously been changed - the size of the pedestal was smaller than the original as I could see the floorboards through the hole in the lino. the rooms were very dated springs had gone in the bed curtains were dirty but bathroom was clean. My room was dark. generally all a bit tired, like stepping back into the 1970's. they hadwedding reception at hotel day and night, when having my dinner in dining room there was childred constantly running in and out of dinning room, plus about 11.30pm to around midnight, some of the older male kids, had a football ,kicking it around directly under my up stairs window, and playing where my car and other cars were. Please don't use the room's Bible to hold the windows open. It didn't bother me, but there are some who might be offended!. service was sometimes slow. Piped music in the bar and restaurant. No shower provision in the bedroom - shower caps and shower slip-proof mat - just no shower. hotel old fashioned, slightly shabby, room windows did not open, bathroom windows did not lock, tv reception atrocious, shower out of the ark. Room smelt musty and unclean. The corridors smelt dirty. No shower in my room. Pigeons in roof. Heating was ineffective.none. Working away from home ,tv reception was poor [only 4 channels],deskarea was cluttered with tea making stuff and lamp.It is about time this place gets refurbished and the curtains and bed covers need imminent washing or dry-cleaning. Thanks God I booked this place for just only one night. The room was rather old fashioned and the carpet looked as if it needed replacing because it looked rather dirty. Ther4e was no plug near to the mirror so using a hairdryer was impossible. The bed was not very comfortable. Burglar alarm was faulty and went off throughout the night. The entire facillity is very run down.Stayed in room 22 the carpet was filthy and worn. Both bed and bedspread had seen far better days.Could not see how hotel had 3 star rating. Size of room, Duvets were exact size of mattress no more, breakfasts not nice and in need of complete redecoration. Poor room-shower did not work properly. Just about everything else. Staff ok but difficult when hotel has seenbetter days.
