We had a very friendly welcome. We arrived about 7pm expecting to be able to order a meal, unfortunately they stop serving at 6pm on Sundays (9pm other nights). Seeing how diappointed we were the young woman went to ask the landlord if he could reccomend somewhere or provide a sandwich. Richard very kindly made us fish and chips, which were excellent and so very welcome after a full day on the road.

After an early start from Stirling in the morning to miss the traffic I was given a warm welcome at the Huddersfield Premier Inn. I also was able to enjoy a good breakfast. My work during the day was very hot and I was glad that I had booked into the hotel for the evening. I hope that I will be required to return to complete the work and look forward to staying at the hotel in the near future. Thank your staff for their help and hospitality. James Harrison

Just off the M62, with free parking, the Premier Inn Huddersfield West has comfortable en suite rooms and an on-site pub restaurant. Huddersfield town centre is only 4 miles away.

I liked the style and the presentation but there were a lack of mirrors and lighting. They should have placed a mirror in the bathroom in order for women to do their make up. Plus the room smelt of damp which was overpowering and spoilt my stay. An employee stated that they had a flood and was going to change the carpets not only in the rooms but

we have stayed at the heritage center before. The apartment was excellent. Our stay was a little too short and much of the time was spent with our family who live in huddersfield. On arriving a gentleman came over to us and thankfully guided us to the correct entrance doorway and took us up to the apartment. I don't think we would have found it easily as we thought it was accessed via the lift. He replaced a hallway light straight away. We will stay again. (We like room 5 as it has a great view
