  The setting was perfect for a serene and romantic break. The small number of children were very well behaved and gave the hotel a more family and friendly feel.   I had a very enjoyable stay at the Barcelo Basingstoke Country Hotel. I found all of the staff very friendly and happy to help. The food was excellent and there was a varied choice on the menu. Leisure facilities great - nice to have the opportunity to relax and unwind in the evening.
