  The staff were very helpful and friendly for the duration of my stay. The room itself was lovely, with a constant supply of hot water and a huge range of in-room teas, coffees and hot chocolates. While the facilities and extras were not fantastic, I was there for business and not pleasure so it did not affect me in any way. Overall, the entire stay at the Red Lion was very enjoyable and the food - rooms are chalet style an the rear of the garden,relatively new and very comfortable, very quite no road noise. the red lion is a 16 century grade 2 listed pub and is full of old word character,all the staff are excellent and friendly, i would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Thanks toall for the best break I've had in a while - Stayed in a hall room, was as good as any 4 or 5 star hotel I have stayed in, staff are friendly and helpful. For the price it exceeded expectations !
