Lovely place to stay. The room was immaculate and tastefully furnished and breakfast was beautifully cooked. Given the choice of here or a hotel in Morecambe, I know where I'd rather be. Best of all, if you're fussy about your sleep,this is the place for you. It's incredibly quiet at night, and the beds are better than my own, carefully chosen, pocket sprung mattress at home! Slept very well and I'm the fussiest sleeper I know.

The room was comfortable and modern but at the same time made the most out of the character features. Breakfast was of perfect and the owners very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was recently refurbished. The room was very spacious. Although there was a busy port nearby we heard no noise during the night. I thought the owners were very helpful and dedicated, open to questions. the port house was very clean and welcomimg, we arrived after 10pm having a horrific experience on the notoriously crowed english roads. Quiet location, quiet comfy rooms, exceptionally clean and new. Great staff and so helpful. Ideal for port users or power station workers. No sea view but ideal for the port and power stations. Nothing. A bit of a walk to the village, positioned opposite the port. all good. Heysham, it's dire!Couldn't connect to wi fi until just before we left. The Midland!. nothing. slightly cold - it didn't warm up much once the radiators had been turned up and no spare blanket. The room could have done with an easy chair. room a little small taxi necessary for moving to the city for dinner. Bathroom should have obscure glass in the window and bath slippery when showering.
