My husband and I loved staying here. We have't relaxed as much as we did here for years. The owners were a delightful, friendly couple who were attentive yet left you to relax (which we did in the lovely lounge where a roaring fire welcomed us). The breakfast and evening meal were both perfect and the overall standard of the hotel was exceptional (I don't think I've been in a cleaner bathroom). Excellent location for a book day in Hay or a ramble in the Brecon Beacons. Highly recommended - we w.
kaikki arvostelut » Welcoming, friendly and considerate owners. Room had rather an old fashioned feel, in keeping with the coaching inn pedigree, but the bed was very comfortable. No TV but there was a bedside radio which is always a plus. The hotel has a luxurious guest lounge to sit and read in. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The inn was very comfortable and clean. It is a wonderful historical building with beautiful rooms and a lovely secluded garden. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious evening meal in the dining room. We would stay there again and would recommend it. Many thanks. This is a quaint old building which is totally unlike all the modern international hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very good. The bathroom was spotless and modern, which contrasted beautifully with the beams and antique furniture in the bedroom. Very welcoming and a lovely inn with plenty of history. Room is very comfortable with a top notch modern bath room with a fabulous shower. We ate here both the nights we were there and had an excellent meal both nights. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!. The room was spacious and spotless and the staff were very friendly. We particularly liked the fact that the menu stated things like 'free range' for the chicken and 'locally sourced' for the pork.
