This beautiful country retreat is the former stables of 17th-century Flore House. In peaceful, rural Northamptonshire, it has tranquil gardens, an indoor heated pool and an infrared sauna. Each of the light, airy rooms has elegant décor and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have a luxury private bathroom, while 3 other rooms share 2 large shower rooms or overlook the courtyard. Guest areas have original period features including oak staircases and an open fireplace. Guests can also walk in the orchard or by the pond, where they will be greeted by the friendly ducks. A continental breakfast is served each morning, whilst free tea and coffee is offered throughout the day. The village of Flore has traditional pubs within 10 minutes’ walk. Althorpe House, Princess Diana’s childhood home and resting place, is 10 minutes’ drive, whilst the M1 motorway is 2.5 miles away.
