Friendly folk running the inn. The atmosphere was relaxed, easy going chique and thoughtful. Our bedroom & ensuite was cosy clean and the bed was comfy- lovely decor; so far removed from the buildings original use as a stable/ skittle alley! I'm sure it could tell some tales! The inn is in the middle of the village, and so wonderfully peaceful. I would highly recommend the inn.
What a friendly comfortable place to stay. Beautiful room, with nothing missing - excellent bar - fantastic food - both dinner and breakfast outstanding. Friendly locals. Ideal for us, far enough away from Taunton to be on our own but close enough for a short drive to the cricket. very comfy bed and pillows - lots of towels, soaps, shampoos etc. very good food for both supper and breakfast (which we could have at whatever time we wanted ie didn't have to be by 9 am!)

Some of the very narrow lanes leading to the inn. Can take a long time to get there, also when you arrive the parking is a problem. Also a problem that once there you cannot walk anywhere to dangerous with the narrow lanes.
Parking could be difficult, Check in after 4pm (prefer earlier).
Remote setting. (Must read online description next time!).
