1. People working there are very nice, friendly and carrying;
2. The room is cozy, warm and well designed. Everything is perfectly clean and fresh;
3. The dining room is really nice, very "English". Breakfast is great, you have choice between English breakfast, cereals, toasts etc.
4. It is not faced the road so it is quiet there.
Nice quiet location away from the main road. Clean and comfortable room with outside landing area to sit and relax and watch TV is you wanted, plus small balcony area overlooking garden. The owner was very hospitable and sociable and the breakfast she cooked for us was delicious and served in a beautiful dining area.kaikki arvostelut »
Arrived in pouring rain and wanted to eat in but didnt check on website
that it had facilities. The owner offered to make sandwiches and other
local options. Bed was very comfortable and room temperature perfect. A
very quiet and peaceful night overlooking a lovely garden and a much
better option to chain hotels.
Quiet location. Fairly large detached, 1850's friendly, family home converted to hotel (guesthouse) Cosy bedroom with olde furnishings and decor. Comfortable bed. Plenty of storage space. Good en-suite bathroom with quality old style fittings.
Characterful dining kitchen. Very good full English breakfast.
This was my 4th stay at Ellerslie House this year. It is close to a few of my customers and offers comfortable, good value accommodation in a quiet setting. It has a homely feel about it and I am sure I will return again soon.

Lovely room and an excellent breakfast. This is a bed and breakfast though and there are no other public rooms. No problem for me. It is also in a very quiet location.

Nice room good breakfast friendly staff.
Nothing.
As there was no facilities a packet of biscuits with the tea tray would
have been welcomed. A minor issue.
Narrow, steep, twisty staircase from entrance lobby.
It would have helped to have had a guide to nearby pubs and restaurants.
The coffee at breakfast was a bit weak.

Not much at all!
The weather was very hot during our stay making sleep difficult for those accustomed to more northern climes....
No one's fault of course.
Only disadvantage is slightly steep stairs.
there was nothing to dislike.
Nothing.
Evening meals not available, but as i found a brilliant "Toby Carvery" near by this was not a problem.
It states that it is a hotel, but there is no residents bar or lounge or optional evening meal. In my wife's experience it does not adequately cater for continental breakfast although I very much enjoyed my full english.
No obvious negatives.

Unable to enjoy garden facilities due to rain!.

Tired B and B - poor directions to the location.
Your Q. 3 above. I do not find a single word there that makes sense. For examples - what hotel can be described as 'mountains', 'City trip', 'shopping'?.

The shower wasn't brilliant in the room but I did not mention this
to the staff so they had no opportunity to rectify the problem.
Nothing!.
Breakfast wasn't the best I've ever had, especially in view of the price.
Box of tissues in the room would have been handy.
Bit of way out of town shame no evening meal available.
