  Really enjoyed our stay - you could not meet a nicer or more genuine couple than Dot and her husband. The room was really nice with a lovely shower and big tv. Breakfast each morning was brilliant and had a nice choice of a fry or continental. The location is a bit outside the city centre (about £8-10 for a taxi at night) but during the day there ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » is a bus literally right outside the door. The chef even gave us change for the bus - The room was spacious, lovely big bed, bathroom was fab, very clean and very comfortable.The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is outside of the city but the bus stops every 5 mins just outside of the hotel so its ideal and you avoid the heavy parking charges for staying in the centre. Breakfast was good with a hot and cold buffet available. We would definatley stay here again.

  What a fabulous Guest House. In a true Scottish Manner I was met at the door and made to feel absolutely welcome. The staff were very professional and friendly and couldn't do enough for us, especially at breakfast. Our breakfast was a true Scottish munch - very well presented and not thrown together.   The location is fantastic, just 100 meters from Haymarket station and also easily accesible from the airport. Besides, the main attractions are also located within walking distance. No sweat! The staff had put on the heating in the room in advance so it was lovely and warm. I was leaving before breakfast started and they had laid out cereal and toast making facilities to use. They have spent a lot of money on new carpets and upgrading bathrooms to make them clean and very fresh. Very strong and secure wi-fi Puts a lot of the big brands to shame

The room when we arrived back was simp - Gareth was an excellent, charming and affable host. The room - 4- was very comfortable and tastefully furnished.(the 'detached' en suite was managed very well and we appreciated the robes) I have a thing about white cotton sheets and towels and Fraoch House gets first prize! Excellent! My cooked breakfast of smoked salmon, cream chees and bagel was delicious! Just right :-) My husband went for the full Scottish and he was equally pleased. All the other usual breakfast fare very well presented

  It is a little way out from the very centre, but a straightforward walk from the Guest house (takes 20mins) and there are loads of buses for £2.50 for a full day as many journeys as you like you can't really complain!
