  We had a perfect stay at the Apex International Hotel. Our room was fantastic with excellent views of the castle and was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and recommended some great restaurants for us. We had a brilliant time in Edinburgh and the hotel was the icing on the cake.   This hotel is like my view of an old hotel should be steeped in history and splendour. It was a pleasure the rooms are not modern although they do have the touches like the plasma tv and modern bathroom. Overall I would not change anything about the hotel it was perfect.   The staff were very helpful and friendly.The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was great with a good selection. The location of the hotel is quite far from the city center but there is a bus leaving every 5-10 mins from just around the corner. It takes about 20 mins and drops you right on Pinces Street. We used to own public houses and a small hotel so therefore we have high expectations your hotel met all of our own personal standards. We would certainly stay with you again.The hotel was more like a big happy family home rather than a typical large group . Our compliments to all of you.
