Fantastic building, great room, comfy bed and it was lovely and quiet. A very relaxing building with a lovely atmosphere of tranquility.
Room and hotel were great location and setting good.
Staff friendly helped booking restaurant in town very willing to oblige.
Idyllic surroundings and luxurious accommodation, what a treat!.

The staff at breakfast had no idea who had ordered what. There didnot seem to be any organisation but we did find it amusing!.
We arrived at 2.30 Friday first time available for dinner was 9 pm so we ate out.
Returned to hotel at 9.55 pm to be told bar was closed ?
When we told management next morning we were told bar should have been open until 12pm and gave us a complimentry drink next night.
In their defence I believe it was their first week as a hotel teething problems maybe?.
At breakfast we seemed invisible in front of staff and had to ask for cutlery and napkins. Staff seemed unorganised and at times rude.
Few things required. Clock/radio, phone,bin and more info re
facilities in hotel.The bottom of the bath was chipped in few places.
Cooked breakfast nearly didnt happen and I felt sorry for the two young
staff left to tell the residents. An apology when settling the bill
would have been appreciated.
