Staying at James Cottage can only be described as a wonderful experience. The cottage is beautiful and family friendliness is not just a word but the case. Staying at James Cottage was like staying at the house of a friend or member of the family. What a wonderful older house with real character, an Michael giving us such a warm welcome to his home. Also 10 out of 10 for an excellent 'full Scottish' breakfast. Michael's parting phrase - "Haste ye back" ..... we'll be sure to call next time we're in Crieff.

Friendly and efficient staff made it a treat to stay here. No matter how many shifts they worked they were always efficient and went out of their way to help. Cosy lounge for pre and post dinner drinks. Spacious, comfortable bedroom with all the facilities you could want. A short hop to the Hydro if you felt more energetic and the same to the town

All staff were friendly and helpful.
Lots of different lounge areas available to relax in the hotel.
Food was also very good within the hotel.
Although the hotel was full, there was no noticable noise from other rooms.
Easy access to beautiful countryside.

from reception to departure we were treated like old friends even though this was our first visit. the facilities were absolutely first class and there appeared to something for everyone. the very best that scotland has to offer was on show at the hotel and certainly far too much to mention. without a shred of a doubt, this will be the first of man
