We enjoyed every aspect of this hotel, the staff were always polite,
very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in the centre of town
and is close to the many adventures on offer in this beautiful area.
It's a long way from Western Australia but we would stay here if we
come again.
Excellent rooms in a separate annexe from the pub, so good food and real
ale are on tap (their own brewery), and then you walk next door into
peaceful rooms, with their own sitting area by the river. V peaceful.
Excellent. I would stay nowhere else.kaikki arvostelut »
Bar staff were great. Beers brewed on premises were outstanding, and they put a lot of care into serving them the right way. Liked the location, breakfast was tasty and filling. Rooms were simple, but comfortable.
I liked the friendly atmosphere and the place was an excellent venue for meeting up with my family who were staying elsewhere locally. The room was clean, warm and comfortable.
Room was warm, clean and comfortable with best power shower I have had for ages.
Excellent breakfast and friendly staff in all areas.
Stayed here while walking the Cunbria Way, good location in village centre right on the trail. Nice room, pub food and ale good.

Great beer . The breakfast was brilliant as we're the staff . The dogs got a sausage each.

Great location. Good food and beer brewed on the premises!.
Friendly Staff, Beautiful family room, Inhouse brewery!.
Location, food, friendly staff, clean, comfortable,.
The cleanliness the food and the friendly staff.
Everything.
The food was first class.
We couldn't stay longer!!!!!.
Nothing. This is the place to book in Coniston.
Parking was a little tight.
The heavy fire doors on the stairs and the corridor to my room were difficult to handle on my own.
Nothing.
Vegetarian evening meals were a little bit disappointing quality - perfectly edible, but not gourmet.
To say its a brewery tap £3.60 a pint for there lowest gravity beer is far to much .
the ale was good but as with all pubs in the lakes it was way over priced and aimed at tourists from London and the south of England.
Breakfast wasn't great and £170 for one night was a bit steep.
A bit cramped.
we had prob with our shower which the staff tried to fix but there was a niggling impression that the prob hadn't really existed !.
Nothing.
Rooms very basic and a little tired. Beer prices very expensive.
