Everything was perfect! Owners Andreas and Marlies could not have done more to help. Tea and coffee was available whenever we wanted it and were often brought to us with complimentary snacks! Breakfast was fantastic and the cooked ones were served with an edible flower. The menus also gave the weather forecast and tide times, excellent! What a wonderful place to stay! Absolutely gorgeous. Complete luxury! The house was immaculate, yet so warm and cosy. Very tranquil with wonderful views from every room. We stayed on the first floor with open views across the loch. Watching the sun come up was just beautiful. Room amenities were great - loved the fluffy towels and even fluffier robes, nespresso coffee machine and slippers!Our hosts were lovely - so friendly and welcoming - and super cooks too! Our breakfast was superb, just wis.

The attention to detail and comfort was outstanding and it was clear that the owners placed quality, luxury and comfort at the top of their list. The views, the bedroom, bedlinen, luxurious bathroom and breakfast were all in a class of their own. The owners were courteous and friendly and I'd happily recommend this place to the most discerning visitor.
Hill stone Lodge is a small family run B&B, the house is newly built & run as a boutique B&B, our room was fresh & clean every day & the breakfast were freshly cooked & of a high standard, our hosts very kindly got up at 5am on our last day as we had to leave early & cooked us a full breakfast, they do a lovely scrambled egg.

Hillstone lodge is a full 5 star experience. A truly amazing view and
relaxing environment. The location, room, comfort, décor, facilities,
food and attention to every detail were all excellent. We thank the
hosts for their commitment to making guests feel special. Unfortunately,
we only stayed for one night! We suggest a minimum of 2 nights stay.
This is a beautiful B&B, immaculately kept with some of the best views on Skye. Marlies was so attentive and helpful in every way, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Her dinner recommendation was spot on and a highlight for our Skye trip. We will be recommending the Hillstone Lodge to others and will be back again! Thanks!.
The owners have built a beautiful lodge on a wonderful place. They have a good sense of fine details, both for the architectural part of the lodge as for the breakfast they serve. Great sunrise in the morning, so don't close the curtains. If you go to the Isle of Skye, don't think twice and book Hillstone Lodge!.
Hillstone Lodge is a lovely place to stay. Andreas and Marlies are warm but unobtrusive hosts and Andreas is a great cook. The lodge is beautifully designed with great attention to detail in terms of the finish. It is situated in an area of outstanding beauty. A perfect, tranquil escape!.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Hillstone Lodge for 5 days. The breakfasts were incredible and the cakes too. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. Quickly book a room here before they realise it is worth a lot more than they ask for at the moment! 10/10.
We have arrived late after a long trip from Edinburgh and awaiting us was one of the most fantastic accommodations that we have been: comfort, fantastic view, amazing food, attention to detail, friendly staff, are just some words to describe our magnificent experience.
The setting of the lodge was beautiful. High quality fixtures and fittings in the bedroom. Comfortable bed. Very relaxed week-end break. Breakfast had a great variety of different hot dishes. Would not think twice about staying there again.

Stunning location. The lodge itself is a designer building, with huge windows out of which you can observe the beautiful loch. Very cosy inside. Fresh tasty breakfast. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

We didn't like the fact that the
Three chimneys resturant was five min from Hill stone lodge & we couldn't afford to eat there , however we ate at The Old school house in Dunvegan every evening & the food was very good & affordable.
