any uk hotel, let alone B&B, having such a diversity and quality of
food for breakfast. (Salmon with poached eggs, omelette with choice of

We liked everything! We booked largely on the basis of reviews we'd
read, and our experience bears out the numerous positive comments
we'd seen. Very comfortable, well maintained and spotlessly clean,
very good breakfast, owners welcoming and helpful. We didn't need to
go into city centre, but the bus service looks good. We tried one of the
pubs recommended by the owners (about 25 min walk) and had a very
enojoyable dinner.

We had a really good stay for the folk festival. The rooms were lovely, the beds super comfortable and the cooked breakfast definitely the spot in the morning.
