  My partner and I stayed over at the Abbotsford Lodge after attending a beautiful wedding at the Roman Camp. We had one of the double rooms at the top, sharing a shower room with other guests. Everything was great from the beginning when we found ourselves in the hall till friendly good-bye. We loved the breakfast with haggis, real feast in the morning! Parking in guest house grounds was a definite plus. Enjoyed our one night stay very much. We were made very welcome along with our dog.   This is more like a 5 star hotel than a B&B though you would never get such friendly service in a hotel. This was much appreciated and very welcome. Lorraine and Derek are fantastic hosts. Helpful in every way possible. We were in The Pitlochary Room, which was beautiful. Varied choice for breakfast, and very good it was too. I cannot find fault in this B&B, and would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to visit Callendar.   The fact that my partner and i did not make it for breakfast after a rather late night an although check out time was stated at 10am, the staff left us till 12 ish ( much appreciated ) - Nice clean rooms, look as if they have recently been re decorated.
