The proprietors were both very friendly and helpful and the evening meals were very good. Indeed as strictly speaking it's bed and breakfast it's particularly good that they do evening meal. Also, althgough I paid extra for a full english breakfast it was very good - about the best I've had. I was made to feel very welcome. Room was very nice with all the facilities I could wish for. First class breakfast. Great location for both the train station and the town centre. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place in ideal location in Bedford particularly for the athletics stadium. Very comfortable and clean - excellent staff and a pleasant atmosphere. .owners extremely friendly and helpful. Scafolding spoils the approach but they have to do the work. The bedrooms are not quite finished off but they are useable. Nothing. Parking is a pain; worse than Manchester and dearer. The shower is quit odd with a small instant boiler. I get soaped and the hot water was finish! Also it was quite cold in the room overnight. I wasn't aware of opening times for check-in. Nothing. No en-suite available. Broken toilet seat. No-one at breakfast. Not great coffee. No hair dryer. Hotel totally obstructed at front so difficult to see when arriving. Parking payment from 8am is just too early!. It would be better described as b+B. Scaffolding and poorly finished room(plastic sheet for a window). Very costly for what was provided. No parking! And greeted with a parking ticket in the morning despite leaving earlier than planned to avoid this. Main blame rests with poor description on booking website. Inclined to book with larger hotel chains directly in future as this turned out to have cost me more. Water ran out half way through my shower. Had asked the owner about parking when I arrived and she gave me a parking voucher for the rest of the day. Aware I should have checked, but it would have been helpful if she had warned me that parking restrictions started at 8am the next morning so I could have avoided the parking ticket I found at 8.55am. still ongoing refurbishment and 1030 checkout!. two car bonnets in lounge no fire guard sparks flying in to lounge only one room ensuite decor very poor. No information about no toillet in the room no water no milk to coffe arter second dag or the. its crap.hey were under refurb and the builders were working since 8 am, that was just sick.I would never reccomend anyone to pass by that b n b.
