The highlight of this hotel has to be the breakfast - it is easily the best I've ever had, and if i were to return to Bath, I have no doubt I'd stay at this hotel again.
The staff were very polite and welcoming, and the room was absolutely spotless.

What a fabulous place to stay with a family! We had a 2 room suite-kids on the fold out couch and us in a huge king size bed. Plenty for kids to do, play ground fabulous, and lots of new things planned for the future at Brittons so we'll be back. Very luxurious, beautifully designed and warm under floor heating ( and it was COLD outside)! Hosts were great, super friendly and made us feel very welcome! The in-room breakfasts were fantastic, kids loved there coco pops! Oh and loved the Portugese

Room was so beautiful we wish we could have stayed longer. Hotel bit far from centre but we liked it that way. Walking was easy and park and ride was conveniently close although car park gets full quickly. Would love to go back in the summer. are the most friendly hosts I have ever met. Offered me a lift into
town, my room was beautiful with a beautiful view of the city of Bath
from the verandah. My breakfast was cooked to my needs. I will
definitely stay here again and again. Oh I forgot to mention the Spa
session in a 5 star hotel I got as a gift for staying 2 nights. I also
got 25% discount on my spa treatment just because Catherine is a member.

Friendly welcome. welcoming entrance. Clean comfortable rooms nicely decorated. Thoughtfulness for guests little touches such as fresh milk available to go with tea trays. crisps / chocolate available to purchase. Fans in rooms (we visited in a heatwave) and every effort was made to cool rooms down. Very friendly and helpful owners/staff. -

A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill.
Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.

We received a warm welcome from Karen and her daughter Rachel. Our room was at the top of the house but well worth the climb. It was exceptional, very clean, very comfortable and the attention to detail was superb. We had a choice of breakfast dishes which were served to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed. The house is in a fantastic position as everything is within easy walking distance.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Brocks Guest house

Great location and hospitality from the owner "Giac" Unusual
to receive a text both before and on the day of arrival but very welcome
(and sensible!) We were able to confirm what time we wanted to arrive
and check in. Room was very clean and comfortable (especially the bed)
The shower was great too. Breakfast is taken in the basement kitchen and
was fresh and wonderful quality. It is only a 10minute walk or so into
the city so was a great location for going in to shop and leter to have
dinner.

We loved our stay in this B&B. The hosts (Mary and her husband) were very friendly, helpful and flexible. We felt like we were at home. Breakfast was better than in a 5-star hotel! There was a cosy family feel to the hotel, with only 5 or 6 bedrooms and a very personal touch. We were offered a cup of tea in the garden when we first arrived, and breakfast was cooked to order and served in a family dining room with the other guests in the morning. The piano in the hallway was utilised by another guest and it was pleasant to hear in the morning while we were getting ready. The hotel is quaint and eccentric, which gives it some charm.
